Microblading

Microblading, also known as eyebrow embroidery or hyperrealism brows, is a manual method for enhancing eyebrows. It is done using a very fine blade to deposit pigment into the epidermis. Because the color is closer to the surface, the strokes appear crisp and very fine. There is no spilling under the skin.

The difference between this and ordinary permanent makeup is that micro blading is not done by a machine. The pigment is manually placed into the skin. The micro blading manual pen is equipped with sterile packaged blades. The blades glide with gentle pressure over the skin and create fine cuts, as fine as a paper cut, leaving a trace that can hardly be distinguished from real hair. With our expert drawing technique it creates an individual look that is perfect for your face and the style you are trying to achieve. Above all, 3D or HD eyebrows appear absolutely natural and do not look like a tattoo.

Microblading is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are natural looking hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of the hair you currently have.

People suffering from Alopecia, Trichotillomania or any other condition that causes hair loss benefit greatly from micro blading, as well as people who simply aren’t happy with their eyebrows.

Microblading Definition ?

  • Microblading is one of the most realistic approach at creating tattooed eyebrows .By using a small handheld tool made of several tiny needles is used to add semi-permanent ink to the skin.

  • It differs from standard eyebrow tattooing because each hairstroke is created by hand using a blade which creates fine slices in the skin, whereas eyebrow tattoos are done with a machine and single needle bundle. Typically used on eyebrows to create, enhance or reshape their appearance in terms of both shape and color. It deposits pigment into the upper region of the dermis, so it fades more rapidly than traditional tattooing techniques, which deposit pigment deeper.

  • Natural realistic results

  • Ideal for Normal/Dry skin

  • NOT Ideal for mature skin (over 50 years old)

  • NOT Ideal for Extremely Oily Thick Skin with large pores

  • NOT ideal for very sparse brows

How long does it last?

Microblading results can last 18-24 months up to individuals, their life style, skin conditions, medical history and how they take care of their eyebrows.

Does it Hurt?

Although the procedure can take upward of 2 hours, most people report only feeling minor pressure or discomfort and less pain than a typical tattoo due to the use of a numbing cream. Of course, this will depend on your own personal tolerance to pain. Some level of pain or discomfort should be expected.

The best way is to send us a photo of your bare brows to thobrows@gmail.com for further assistance.

Does Microblading ruin your eyebrows?

Do you shave off my eyebrows before Microblading?

No we dont shave off your brows before the procedure. Your eyebrows are flowers not weed. We rely on what you have to build on. Please do not let anyone do this to you.

Do you still have to pluck eyebrows after Microblading?

Yes you do. Your brows hair will still grow outside of your microbladed brow line and needs to be cleaned up

What Does the Microblading Healing Process Look Like?

  • Allow freshly eyebrows seven to ten days to heal. By the second day, you should be feeling better with the sensitivity stopping shortly. The swelling and redness can take up 3 days to resolve. Swelling will impact their symmetry over the next week.

  • Don't be worried if the strokes have disappeared/missing/flaking off, it takes the pigment roughly 4 weeks to resurface.

  • For the first 4 to 6 days the eyebrows will appear bold and dark, the colour will drop by 40 percent and thickness by 10 to 15 percent when healed. Read More

Maintenance tips

  • Recommend getting a “touch-up” of your microbladed eyebrows at least once a year. This touch-up will involve adding pigment to the outline of the brows that you have already.

  • After your skin is fully healed, you’ll want to protect your microblading investment by taking care of your skin. Applying a sunscreen to the microbladed area may help prevent fading. Like similar cosmetic treatments — such as eyebrow tattooing — microblading is permanent but will fade. Fading may occur at a faster rate than brow tattooing due to the smaller amount of pigment used. Two years after your initial procedure, you’ll most likely have to repeat the procedure in its entirety.
