HEALING PROCESS

  •  Allow freshly eyebrows seven to ten days to heal. By the second day, you should be feeling better with the sensitivity stopping shortly. The swelling and redness can take up 3 days to resolve. Swelling will impact their symmetry over the next week.

  • Don’t be worried if the strokes have disappeared/missing/flaking off, it takes the pigment roughly 4 weeks to resurface.

  • For the first 4 to 6 days the eyebrows will appear bold and dark, the colour will drop by 40 percent and thickness by 10 to 15 percent when healed.

EXPECTATION & TIPS

Everyone’s skin is different and therefore may heal differently from this procedure.

Depending on your skin type, your lifestyle and how well your body heals, some areas might retain pigment better than others and how you take care of your brows. Some might requires a third touch up

Some extra tips to help with a smooth and easy recovery:

  • Use a fresh pillowcase

  • Avoid hot, sweaty exercise for one week

  • Avoid heavy sweating and long hot showers for the first14 days

  • Avoid sleeping on your face for the first14 days

  • Avoid swimming, lakes, hot tubs for the first14 days

  • DO NOT put makeup on the brows until flaking is done. Our makeup has bacteria and you could

  • get a staph infection!

  • Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks after procedure. Wear a hat when outdoors

  • Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate away. Picking can cause scarring or loss of colour

  • No facials, botox, chemical treatments or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks

  • Avoid using anti-aging or acne products that “lighten”, “brighten” or “tighten” for 4 weeks

  • Do not put anything other than your aftercare on them unless first discussed with your artist

  • DO NOT rub, pick or scratch the treated area

AFTER CARE FOR THE NEXT 10 DAYS

  • WASH: Use clean cotton pad to gently dab the area every hour with cleaning solution that is provided in the after care kit (In case, you run out of the cleaning solution, you can mix 15 % baby shampoo , any brand, with 85% distilled water )

  • MOISTURIZE: Before bed, apply a tiny, rice grain amount of Healing balm with a cotton swab and spread it across the treated area. (1 time only)

  • If the treatment was done late in the evening and you do not have time to do it put a plastic wrap over the eyebrows you previously applied the cream on, so that you protect the eyebrows from drying and wiping overnight.

    (Day 2 and Day 3)

  • WASH: Clean your brows in the morning, lunch time and before bed  with cleaning solution that is provided in the after care kit

  • MOISTURIZE : Once in morning and once before bed .Be sure not to over-apply, as this will suffocate your skin and delay healing. The product should be barely noticeable on the skin.

    (Days 4th until Day 10th)

  • No more cleaning/washing brows

  • MOISTURE: Apply 2 times a day ( in the morning and at night )

  • PLEASE WASH YOUR FACE WITH A FACE CLOTH OR WIPES AND YOUR HAIR LEANING BACK INTO A BATH OR SALON)

    (Day 10+)

  • Entire healing process will take from 2-4 weeks depending on your body’s regeneration and age. Your new eyebrows will go through several phases during the healing cycle.

  • Once completely peeled, always apply a layer of sunscreen SPF 30 up to SPF 50 on your eyebrows when exposed to the sun. Sun exposure might cause the color pigment to fade away more quickly.

  • When using foundation, avoid applying over your new eyebrows. If foundation covers healed brows, your eyebrows will appear lighter.
